The white days are 3 days of the Hijri month during which fasting is strongly recommended. Ubayy said: 'A Bedouin came to see the Messenger of Allah, and he had a rabbit which he had roasted and some bread. He placed it before the Prophet then he said: I found it bleeding. The Messenger of Allah said to his Companions: “It does not matter; eat. And he said to the Bedouin, 'Eat.' He said, 'I am fasting.' He said: 'If you want to fast, then you must fast the white days of Al-Bid: The thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth.

Fasting on Monday and Thursday

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The deeds of people are presented before Allah on Mondays and Thursdays, then every slave (of Allah) is granted the forgiveness (of minor sins) if he associates nothing with Allah in worship.
